Research Experience and Interests:
Emily’s research interests include emotion, political psychology, and morality. At SJU, Emily’s research focused on pathogen disgust in relation to health anxiety, emotion regulation difficulties, and OCD behavior and memory. At U of A, Emily has investigated the effect of incidental emotion on status quo bias and is currently developing a line of research on abortion attitudes.
