Austin Eubanks (Graduated 2023)
Austin’s primary focus is on methodology and quantitative analysis. For the last several years, Austin has been publishing R programming content on his YouTube channel (UArk PsychStats) for graduate statistics, multivariate statistics, and SEM courses. Hi research interests have been broadly in political psychology. Much of his work has involved non-verbal components of political debates. Austin’s OSF page can be found here.
Derrick Till (Graduated )
Derrick’s primary research interests are related to the intersection of political ideology, ingroup/outgroup dynamics (i.e., bias), and the affective and cognitive components of motivations and personalities. More generally, Derrick is interested in why individuals develop their particular ideologies/worldviews; why they come to perceive ingroups/outgroups the way they do, and how worldviews and group perceptions lead to political and social behaviors.
David Sparkman (Graduated 2018)
David Sparkman is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. His research area focuses on topics related to diversity, prejudice, and intergroup relations, wherein he often examines ways to mitigate intergroup bias and capitalize on the benefits of racial, ethnic, and cultural diversity. John C. Blanchar (Graduated 2016)
John C. Blanchar is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Swarthmore College. His research focuses on psychological factors underling left-wing and right-wing ideology, preference for tradition and the status quo, authoritarianism, and political polarization, intolerance, and the American culture war. Jennifer Pattershall-Geide (Graduated 2012)
Jennifer Pattershall-Geide is the Assistant Director of Survey Research and Analysis at the George Washington University. Prior to GW, she was an Assistant Professor at the Missouri University of Science and Technology.
